IP-PBX multi-site deployment

The following figure depicts the multi-site deployment scenario. As illustrated below, inter-site VoIP calls are made possible by deploying COSMOS as SIP Call Server, cutting the cost for legacy long distance call. Connection to the incumbent telephone network is accomplished by the Media Gateways, which convert voice calls between TDM and VoIP networks. This set up enables real time communications over IP network and across different session borders.
